My name is Courtney and I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling, from UW-Whitewater’s CACREP-accredited Counselor Education Program in 2020, with a dual licensure in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and Certified Trauma Professional. Beyond my role as a Counselor, I am a mom of five beautiful kids, which keeps me quite busy. I love nature, animals, traveling, and spending time with people I love. I am passionate about helping others and all things mental health-related.
I use a wholistic, trauma-informed, integrative approach to therapy, tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I believe in meeting people where they’re at and build upon your strengths to help meet your goals. I draw most from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.
I firmly believe that healthy, genuine relationships are the foundation for healing, and I strive to make everyone feel seen, heard, and know that they matter. My mission is to help you take your power back. To shatter shame. To provide a safe, authentic space for you to hope, heal, and grow. And to empower and equip you with integrative skills to lead a more productive and fulfilling life.
I know that life can be difficult to navigate at times, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m looking forward to walking this journey of hope and healing with you.
